Remapping is the science of changing the software in a vehicle’s Electronic Control Unit (ECU).

The ECU is the central computer that controls every operating parameter of the engine. It controls every aspect of engine function including, fuel ratio, fuel pressure, fuel timing, turbo boost, EGR, spark advance, cam timing and will also have controls set by the manufacturer to limit torque production.

When we remap your vehicle it is normally done through the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) socket. We will take a read of the file or data from your car and as we are official agents for BHP UK we will send that data to our map writers there. The map writers will modify the program before we upload the new file to your car to maximise the performance of your vehicle.

All of the maps we supply are bespoke to your vehicle so you are guaranteed not to have any compatibility issues as is common when non-bespoke or generic maps are used.
